How to manage your family's verified devices
To keep your account secure, we ask that the devices used in your family be verified against your Rooster Account for actions like Resetting Contactless use. Only the primary parent can manage a family’s devices. If one of your verified devices has been lost or replaced, then you can remove the device from your family’s verified devices. You can also change the device nickname anytime to make it more memorable.
To do this, follow the steps below:
- Tap Menu in the top right corner of the family dashboard
- Tap “Manage Account”
- Tap “Account Settings”
- Tap “Manage family devices”
- Tap on a device to see more information about the device and the option to revoke the device’s verification
- To edit a device nickname, tap on the edit pen icon next to the device name and follow the steps to rename your device (e.g. “Dad’s iPhone”)
