How to verify your family's devices against your account

To be able to reset contactless on your child’s Rooster Card, the user initiating the reset will first need to verify their device. Once a device is registered, it will be verified for the next 12 months, after which you will be asked to verify the device again. 

How to verify your device if you’re the primary parent:

  • Tap “Card” under your child’s name on the family dashboard
  • Tap “Reset Contactless”
  • Follow the screens to have a code sent to your email address
  • Once received, enter the code

How to verify your device if you’re a secondary parent:

  • Tap “Card” under your child’s name on the family dashboard
  • Tap “Reset Contactless”
  • Follow the screens to have a code sent to the primary parent’s email address
  • Ask the primary parent for the code, and then enter the code

How to verify your device if you’re a child:

  • Tap “Card” under your child’s name on the family dashboard
  • Tap “Reset Contactless”
  • Follow the screens to have a code sent to the primary parent’s email address
  • Ask the primary parent for the code, and then enter the code
